Let the Adventure Begin
The Outdoor Scouting at Magness (OSM) program is designed for our Lion and Tiger Scouts to have their first true “Summer Camp” experience. The experience is a 24-hour introduction into Cub Scout summer camp. This program includes archery, BB’s, Nature Hikes, Crafts and many other activities at the beautiful Magness Adventure Camp.
Magness Adventure Camp is located on the west side of McNeil Scout Ranch at Peaceful Valley in Elbert, Colorado. The camp is approximately a one-hour drive from downtown Denver. From the Magness Tower, the camp boasts sweeping views of the Front Range, including Pikes Peak.
Are you ready? Make 2021 better than 2020 coming to Peaceful Valley!
Sessions are one overnight stay.

At check-in, each family or group will be assigned to a shelter, where everyone sleeps in a comfortable tent complete with two padded bed frames. Extra sleeping pads for a third person or campers under the age of five can be checked out from camp staff at the time of check-in. Tents sit on platforms and may be closed at night for privacy. Family-friendly heated bathrooms are steps from your tent that include private hot showers and flush toilets.
