Chuck Brasfeild, Greater Colorado Council Scout Executive/CEO, will begin his tenure in June of 2020.
Prior to relocating to Denver, Chuck served as the Scout Executive/CEO of the Golden Empire Council in Sacramento, California for the past six-years. While in Sacramento, Chuck and his team led the Western Region in Cub Scout growth and he led the development and planning of a new year-round Scout camp.
Before, Sacramento, Chuck served as Scout Executive of the Flint River Council in Griffin, serving communities on the south side of Atlanta. While in Griffin, he led a two-year growth period, and developed a multi-year capital campaign, of which the first $3 million was raised in 18 months.
Not a native Georgian, Chuck and his family moved to Griffin from Orlando, Florida – where he worked with the Central Florida Council for 10 years, ultimately as COO his final three years. While in Orlando, Chuck was named to the 40 Under 40 Orlando Class of 2008 – Most Influential Business Leaders in Orlando Under 40.
Chuck is a basketball coach, Scout leader and enjoys anything outdoors. His current hobbies are chicken farming and manual labor, which apparently go hand-in-hand.
Chuck and his wife, Katie, have three children: Will (12) a Tenderfoot, Robbie (15) a Life Scout, and Laura Grace (19) a two-time Jamboree Skatepark staff member.
