What is an Investment in Character?
The Investment in Character Campaign is the largest contributor to the Greater Colorado Council’s annual budget, and it is used to support important program elements such as camping facilities, volunteer training, professional staff, registration assistance, camperships, and much more. All money raised in this campaign stays local (within our district) and goes back into supporting your unit. Investment in Character presentations are a way to ensure that every family has an opportunity to give.
To learn more about Investment in Character and what a presentation might look like, please watch this short video from the 2021 Campaign.

The Greater Colorado Council is proud to be able to provide insurance coverage to its registered members and leaders. Liability insurance protection is afforded to those who donate the use of their facilities for Scouting activities. Certificates of insurance can be provided to the property owner in most cases upon request. All requests must be in writing, and submitted at least 2 weeks in advance using this form.
Scouts and Scouters should follow the requirements as written on this page on Scouting.org. Check out this guide from Bryan On Scouting!
