Guide to Safe Scouting

The Greater Colorado Council Health and Safety Committee offers many training opportunities in the area of health and safety including, but not limited to, Health and Safety Training, CPR, First Aid, Wilderness First AidSafe Swim DefenseSafety AfloatClimb on Safely, and Trek Safely. Many of these trainings can be found on the Scouting Online Learning Center Site.

CPR, First Aid, Wilderness First Aid Training Resources

CPR, First-Aid, and wilderness first aid training are available from organizations not affiliated with the GCC, and teach first aid to both youth and adults. Before beginning any training required by the GCC, please ensure you are taking the appropriate course to participate in outdoor activities or for advancement.
