The GCC possesses some of the most dedicated, selfless, lifelong volunteers who make Scouting programs and exclusive experiences possible for all youth. GCC volunteers often experienced Scouting on some level during their lifetime, and these volunteers seek to instill the same commendable qualities they gained from Scouting in future leaders. Through the dedication of volunteers, the GCC remains the foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training in America.
Training is an important part of learning to become an effective leader. The main purpose of training is to provide you with the tools you need to implement a quality program for youth. Leaders who clearly understand the program are more effective and have a better understanding of how to access and use all available resources to provide an exciting worthwhile program for Scouts.
