The National Eagle Scout Association – Denver (NESA Denver) Chapter aims to connect Eagle Scout alumni from across the region! Our goal is simple—keep Eagle Scouts engaged once they have earned the rank. We look to provide opportunities for socializing, learning about ongoing Greater Colorado Council activities, the impact current programs are having on Denver’s youth, and opportunities to become further involved in Scouting.
In addition to the opportunity to reengage in Scouting, NESA Denver also functions as a business network for like-minded Eagle Scout alumni to develop relationships with other professionals throughout the Denver area over the common ground of their passion for Scouting. Through various events and fun activities, NESA Denver will provide an environment for members to make real connections and stay up to speed on ways to give back to the Boy Scout experience that made such an impact on their lives.
The overall aims of the NESA organization are to REkindle, REconnect, and REengage with existing Eagle scouts everywhere. NESA Denver is a passionate group committed to upholding these principles and is calling ALL Denver Eagle Scouts to become a member today. The ultimate goal of NESA Denver is to ensure councils have an active Eagle Scout alumni network that is engaging at the local community to find Eagle Scouts that may be looking to once again become involved in the world of Scouting.
NESA Denver Chapter is chaired by Greater Colorado Council Executive Board Member Mark Truax, with Associate Board member and NESA Denver vice-chair Sid Dixon.
Why get involved in NESA Denver? It’s simple. As an active Eagle Scout , you are already a part of a select group of individuals that are committed to leading and living life through the principles of the Scout Oath and Law. NESA Denver is a way to connect and bond with those individuals in a relaxed, informal setting. Additionally, NESA Denver is not exclusive to Eagle Scouts of a particular age or business acumen. Our events give active members an opportunity to socialize with Eagle Scouts across several generations from a wide variety of backgrounds. From retired Air Force pilots, to high-tech entrepreneurs, to CEOs of prominent Denver businesses, NESA Denver you are guaranteed to make new acquaintances with individuals you may have never otherwise interacted with.
