Attend the National Jamboree with the Colorado contingent

The National Jamboree is one of the pinnacle activities that scouts and scouters can participate in. There are several ways to participate:

• As a youth participant: a Scout or other youth BSA member (Venturing crew member, Sea Scout, etc.)
• As an adult leader with the contingent
• As an adult participant with the contingent (new for 2023)
• As a staff member at the Jamboree

How Do I Sign Up?

If you’re ready to sign up right now, you can do so at the official BSA 2023 National Jamboree website. There is no cost to sign up now — all fees will be collected through the Greater Colorado Council. 

In particular, we need adult leaders for our contingent:

• To attend as a Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster, Crew Advisor or Associate Crew Advisor in the Colorado/GCC contingent, please send your Scouting Resume and a brief letter of interest & introduction to DACJambo@gmail.com.

Was the Jamboree canceled? 

The 2021 event was canceled due to the pandemic. Now the National Jamboree is scheduled for July 19-28, 2023! The National Jamboree normally takes place every 4 years, but in this case, it will have been 6 years since the last National Jamboree that took place in 2017. Don’t miss it!
