Tahosa Mountaineer Program at Tahosa High Adventure Base

No Troop? No Problem!

No Scout should miss out on the fun and excitement of summer camp because they aren’t available to participate with their own troop. For this reason, the GCC is proud to offer Tahosa’s Mountaineer Program; a provisional troop that provides Scouts unable to attend summer camp with their own troop or Scouts who want to attend an additional week an opportunity to not miss out on the fun. This unique program groups Scouts from various troops into a single patrol, offering a similar experience as Scouts who attend summer camp with their traditional troop. To attend, complete the Mountaineer Registration Form and submit it to the GCC camping department.

Attending camp without your troop is easier than one might think! Scout’s only need their personal gear (clothing and equipment), and transportation to and from camp. The GCC provides experienced adult leadership, patrol gear, and opportunity for all the fun a Scout can consume.
