The GCC offers a variety of camps for youth ages 6 – 10, or in grades 1 – 5. There are options available for all youth, whether they are involved in Scouting or not.
Cub Scout Adventure Camp offers a family-style camping experience. With a beautiful lake, archery and BB gun ranges, rock climbing, canoeing, and paddle boating, Cub Scout Adventure Camp offers a camping program for Cub Scouts and family members of all ages! An updated program means the Gate’s Aquatics Center as well as the Shooting Sports complex will now be available for daily use!
Cub Scout Adventure Camp is located on the east side of McNeil Scout Ranch near Elbert, Colorado, also known as Camp Cris Dobbins. The camp is approximately a one-hour drive from downtown Denver.
Traditional Cub Scout Day Camps provide fun and adventure in the outdoors for packs and dens. Organized as one-to-five-day programs with trained leadership and exciting activities, day camps are held at nearby, approved locations in the metro area.
Adventure awaits at the Cub Family Camp Out! Your Cub Scout and their family can look forward to an experience full of activities such as Archery, BB-guns, Obstacle Course, STEM Activities, Evening Camp Fire Program and more! Bring your whole family! A parent or guardian must accompany each Cub Scout and family members.
Colorado Adventure Point is where STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Adventure Day Camp takes place. STEM camp offers five days of dynamic adventure with hands-on experiments. Each day campers work together to solve challenging experiments designed to teach critical thinking and the scientific method. In addition, campers can experience thrilling Adventure Zones as they learn about science in rock climbing, archery, marksmanship, and much more!
